Cannot install OpManager
Hi, I'm trying to install the free edition of OpManager on my server, but it just ends the installation with a small input form asking for my username/phone/email then says when I submit that support will be in contact. I do not receive any other errors, but in the install folder I see a couple of text files with worrying information: pgsql.txt D:\Scrap>set wdir=D:\Scrap D:\Scrap>set PROD_HOME=D:\Program D:\Scrap>cd /D D:\Program\pgsql\scripts The system cannot find the path specified. Devices Report 100% packet loss
On the latest build of OPManager. We have several devices like switches, servers, vm etc being monitored. OPManager is reporting 100% packet loss on some devices. Those devices are up and running. Not sure why opmanager would report 100% loss
Custom widget from 11.6 to 12.2

No Traffic info switch port
Hi, I have installed OpManager12.2 on a virtual machine in the same subnet in which are two cisco switch that I manage. Why I can't see any information about Traffic RX and Traffic TX switch ports ? Trouble status on switch ports that are up and with traffic
Hi there, I have some switchs with ports in the state orange / Trouble (but not in alarms!) but are with traffic and up. On Interfaces: - Admin Status is Up - Oper Status is Down On "Configure Interfaces": - Manage is Checked - Status Poll is Not Checked (we don't want to know when some ports are up or down, they are desktop computers ports). Why is the state Trouble in those ports? (screenshot attached). ´ Thanks. Pedro.
SNMP Issues
Hi All, I've recently setup/configured opmanager and am trying to retrieve Installed Software,Active processes, Device notes and anything else that relies on SNMP Trap. So I started the SNMP Trap service and also allowed it in the firewall on the local server. But am still unable to retrieve the information. The next steps I guess would be to trouble shoot SNMP and if it is sending/receiving useing a 3rd party tool. Does anyone have anything in mind? Or has anyone ran in to these issues? Cheers,
How to add syslog monitors to linux machines?
I know how to make syslog rules, if nedded, but when try to add a syslog monitor to a Linux machine i don't have those monitors available. Printscreen of the Monitor tab of a Linux client attached. Opmanager 12.
Re-Catagorize Servers to Virtual Device
When trying to change a device Catagory from Server to VirtualDevice getting a pop-up message saying it can't be changed to Virtual Device if not discovered as VirtualDevice. So we have to delete and re-add VMWare and HyperV servers as virtual devices? Is there no other way to do this? I have 33 Host servers. This would require I reset everything up for each one (Services monitored, Notification Profiles, etc...) Any insight or help would be great! :) Thanks, RobS

Hi, I have a queston about unmanaged devices. If I add one device and set it as unmanaged it takes my license node?? I want to use connection lines on Bussiness View but my monitored devices connect with operator PE devices which I can't monitor but I need them only to draw connections, Thanks in advanced. HyperV VM "The value specified for parameter[entityID] is wrong."
Hi there, When looking at virtual machines of a hyperv server, when i choose the "play" button (green triangle) it asks me the IP address and community of the vm machine that i want to start monitorizing. The problem is that, when i choose ok it gives me the following error at the top o f the page: "The value specified for parameter[entityID] is wrong." Am I missing something? Pedro.

Why does the "Last Polled at" field remain blank when restarting the server? How do I force all the Pool at once? For example, all the monitors are blank, I want to perform the pool of all the monitors of the server, how to do?

Mibs configuration
Hello, I have some issues configuring Mibs from a getaway.....I have the mibs from the vendor and when I test it on the mib browser it seems to work fine. However I get a table and I want to monitor a specific value of the table. As you can see on the attached image if I get the values from the table the Object ID wuld be 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.10.10.2.21 and I get the values .0.0 .0.1 .0.2 .1.0 ..etc the other option is to go down on the tree an the Object ID will add .1 at the end and .1.3 depending
Readding Default Dashboards
Now we have upgraded to V12.2 I have noticed the default Dashboards are empty. I'm not sure if this was removed because they were not used, is there any way to add back the standard Dashboards as the tabs are there, however when clicked they are blank. VPN and OpManager
Hi, My team and I are evaluating the OpManager. The issue that I am having with the OpManager is our VPN appliance. We are using PulseSecure/Juniper MAG VPN appliance. The OpManager discovered the MAG via snmp v2c (to make things simple for now), but it is not providing any data. We are also using Zabbix, and Zabbix is giving us way more information compare to OpManager with no data at all. Does anyone have this issue with VPN and OpManager? Thanks
Dashboards and CCTV views in v12.2
Hello We have couple of issues/quirks with v12.2. The first is the real time graphs for bandwidth monitoring on the dashboard. Is there any way to change the percentage on the graph to something more useful like the bandwidth in Mb per sec? The second is we use a dashboard showing all of our sites current status (which shortcuts to a business view for each site) is there anyway to increase the size in the dashboard widget and CCTV views? as the current size is far too small to see on a 50" wallboard
MIB browser
Hi Guys, i am new to this tool over here. I added my Fortigate300C to monitor and I wanted to add in my own MIB files to it I used the MIB browser then I read from their website which they indicated that there is a set button or something to set into my device. Moving OpManager App and DB Servers to new machines

Hello, I have a situation where we are changing the naming convention for our organization. This is based on the ISO standards. Our Environment is monitored using OPManager v.12.2. OpManager losing connection with SQL Server database
We're now running OpManager V9010 with MS-SQL server as a default database. Sometimes OpManager stops to show collected information about all devices. the wrapper.log shows that the application loses the connection with the database and after a few seconds it tries to reconnect. sometimes this procedure is taking too much time to get the things back to the normal. I'd like to know why this problem happens and if there is a way to fix it ! The only way to normalize is restarting the OpManager
Variables (There seem to be a lot of them)
Apparently there are a lot of places where variables are used. But there is no place where all the default variables available are listed and defined as to their expected values. Long Login times
Hi, We had installed AppManager to test it out and are trying to remove it in OpManager but now after removing it are experiencing long login times and strange messages in the log file. The error we are seeing in the logs continuously is: ServerOut: AppManagerProcess isInitialized: true And when trying to login, the following screen appears for about 5 mins then you are at the login screen:
Wasted space around Business Views
Is there any way to get the Business View to use all available space in its widget? The view appears small making it a bit useless, however there is lots of space around it which can be used. OPManager stops working at Once
Dear Support team I am facing issue with my OPManager . As i was monitoring almost 250 devices VIA OPManager (Servers , Routers, Switches , Time attendance devices, Firewalls, Proxy devices ETC) but OPManagers stops reading all devices at once. Even i am using licensed version of OPManager. Only AMS (Support contract is expired) . Since the AMS contract expired i am facing issue. Partitions details query
Good day I've noticed when certain servers alert on partition details, some alerts show the affected drive while others don't. This means our helpdesk guys need to click on the alert, then click on the server, go into monitors and check which threshold is violated. Do you guys know why this is the case?
