Error while integrating OpManager with Service Desk MSP
Greets, I´m having a problem with the integration of OpManager with Service Desk MSP, the error in OpManager is: "Cannot establish connection with SDP. Error message from SDP: Account name cannot be empty" I filled all required fields, including user and password (local authentication with default administrator account). The SDP MSP is a fresh installation, servers are Windows 2012R2 and are in the same LAN, firewalls were deactivated for testing. OpManager is v11500 and the DB is a local MSSQL

Hi, In OpManager Settings->Add-on/Product Integration I configured SDP server like this: When I clicked save button show a alert every things is okay , also click on Sync now, copy assets to SDP asset manager, but I went to OpManager Settings->Monitoring tab->Notification -> Add ->select Log a Ticket, show me a error "Unable to fetch values from ServiceDesk Plus" and redirect to SDP integration page. What should I do? How to solve it or debug it. Thanks
Changing ethernet default graph - V12.2
I'm looking in changing the default ethernet graph because it's a little bit misleading: it shows the traffic summed and not overlapped that would be preferable for a full duplex interface. I've looked around but i'm not able to find a way to change it. Do you know if it's possible to select a different kind of graph to display ethernet data? thanks

Event log Alarms
Hey I need to know whenever my windows server based device is shutdown so i tryed to do this by seting up notification from event log rules "System is shud down" form security. I thnik i have done everting right but when my server went down yesterday i did not get any email notification and this did not occure on event log alarms. Can you tell me would be possible reason for this not working at all ?
How to run a command in cmd.exe off of a trigger

OpManager - Alarm Grouping
When an alarm is generated by OpManager we send an email notification with an AlarmId and an impacted Device. However when the alarm is not cleared after x amount of time a 2nd (and 3rd/...) alarm fires with a new AlarmID for the same device. Is there any way to group these alarms together? Device SNMP vals in Degrees F
I am monitoring a number of devices that report via SNMP their temps in Degrees F. Being from Australia this is of limited value when I have to continually mentally convert it. Is there a way Opmanager can perform recalc the values when received and stored so that Thresholds, Values, Graphs in Opmanager are working with Degrees C.
SMS Alerts configuration
Hi there, I was wondering if I could get help with SMS alerting in Opman. I have managed to configure SMS and test it and we are receiving text messages fine but I'm not sure how to configure it to alert on certain criteria of server faults. For example, I would like a text alert to come through if a particular server is un-pingable after 5 attempts (network issue) but I've had a look around the settings and cannot see where to set this. Set threshold of MSSQL Database File/Log size per database?
Good day, I was wondering if it is possible within OpManager to set the threshold for database file/log sizes individually? We have multiple databases running on some of our servers with varying sizes, and as such, would like the thresholds to be different. Hi all, I am receiving errors on several of my SQL Servers indicating "Excess Total Committed Memory needed is X KB, threshold value for this monitor is 131072 KB". From the research I've done, this is the difference between the Target Server Memory and the Total Server Memory. If I'm understanding correctly, this alarm fires because the difference between the target memory and the actual amount of memory the server has committed using the memory manager is more than 128 megs. Hello, Is it possible to change the default MSSQL Monitoring options instead of the defaults your company has chosen? Our DBA's would only like certian monitors enabled and I would like to edit the default monitors. SNMP NO NEED FOR PASSWORD
we have procurve 5406zl switches .....there is no password on snmp we have setup. OpManager is requiring a password when we setup Credentials for discover on snmp....so it fails on these switches when discovering the Interfaces. What is the solution?
Cannot Add URL Monitor as Trigger on Workflow

Backup Cisco Config Files in OpUtils 12.2
Where in the heck is it? All of the documentation is either out of date or points to OpManager's NCM. On the OpUtils page it's listed as a Featured Tool but it's not documented anywhere that I can find.
Multiple Encounter after the upgrade of OpManager to the latest.
1) Having several instances of postgres.exe with High Memory usage. 2) Intermittent freezing / hanging of OP manager after clicking some menus. 3) Some devices fetching monitors for too long. 4) Some devices missing their names after being clicked. 5) Unmanaged / deleted Linux devices still detected by OP Manager despite having SNMP turned off.

WMI not possible because of NAT
Hi Unfortunately we have two remote offices with the same IP range and have to use NAT to access one of them. Unfortunately WMI does not work because of the NAT. Is there some kind of probe or agent we can install in a remote network or servers to monitor them? Without WMI there is a lot (like Windows Services) we can't monitor properly. Servers drop from System
I have two Red Hat 6.X servers that drop from OpManager about every week or two weeks. OpManager sees the servers as up because they are available via ICMP but not via SNMP. If I perform a rediscover there is no change, no SNMP data (memory, disk, process, etc.) is available. The only way to get the systems fully available via OpManager is to delete them and then add them back. I've verified that SNMP is setup properly on the two servers and that there are no differences from other servers that
wan rtt monitor source interface
Hi In my network I use vrf. I would like to configure wan rtt in one particular vrf on my cisco router I configure it using source ip address (and destination) in that vrf Next I add "vrf vrf_name" command on my router I test it using show ip sla statistics and it works fine But OPManager don't monitor it. It is strange thing. When I go to path detail it shows me address of my loopback instead of address of subinterface in vrf that I configured previously. I am using OPManager version 8810
Opmanager cant aware of the service is restarted
Hello, We're monitoring a windows based service named X with opmanager. When this X service fails it restarts itself in 6 seconds just because it's a live service and it's supposed to restart it self very quickly. However sometimes even the service fails opmanager cant alert it fails because it restart too quickly. We really need a solution regarding to this as we cant know if the service is restarted or not within day. Regards.
OpManager 12.200 (Upgrade from 10.250)
We recently upgraded our instance from 10.250 to the latest 12.200 - it's a great improvement but we are possibly experiencing some upgrade issues. Our main issue right now is getting a handle on the Maps - we've loaded the Google Maps and it was auto populated with many of our devices. However, I'd like to start fresh and ensure it is working on a clean slate. There are devices on the map I can delete, but there are many others that I cannot delete or get any information on at all - when clicking
Switching off SQL Alert
Good morning we are attempting to configure the SQL monitors with OpManager 12200 but am struggling to switch off the attached alert. We do not want to monitor this as we have many MDF's that are bigger than this and they are all alerting. I have increased the threshold but i think it would be better to just switch it off. Problem with Real-Time View Plot window
I'm evaluating OpManager version: 12200 (64-bit) installed on Linux 4.4.0-62 (Ubuntu Dist) and found an issue with the real-time view plot. It appears that the Time Window field only affects the outbound plot. In the screen capture below, I show an example where the Time Window field is set to 1 minute (tested also with other values - similar results) and the outbound plot will reduce to 1 minute while the inbound plot continues to scale out indefinitely. Unable to modify Enterprise Dashboard, this restriction is unnecessary and causes problems when a widget fails
I'm evaluating OpManager for a potential purchase and have noticed some problems. I'm running v12.2 on Ubuntu Server 16.0.4 LTS. This issue occurred while trying to edit a widget. The widget disappeared while leaving a blank spot on the dashboard. As I am restricted from making any changes to this dashboard, I cannot delete and re-add the widget to fix the problem.
