Technical Support Applications Manager
As we try to evaluate Applications Manager for use in our business, we encountered a problem with setting up a monitor for our JBoss servers.
After modifying the jboss-service.xml file to comply with the right portnumber (8088), appmgr can't connect to the jboss server. We ran the jbossDebug.bat which give us the following report:
Trying to connect to jboss server : 10.x.y.z running at port :8088
Connecting for {JBossLibraries=[.\jboss\jbossall-client.jar], JndiProperties={java.naming.factory.initial=org.jboss.naming.HttpNamingContextFactory, java.naming.provider.url=http://10.x.y.z:8088/invoker/JNDIFactory}}
Exception While connecting to the JBoss server http://10.x.y.z:8088 due to error : null
Unable to connect to jboss server
com.adventnet.adaptors.clients.jboss.JBossConnectException
java.io.InvalidClassException: org.jboss.util.id.GUID; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 3289509836244263718, local class serialVersionUID = 6926421946503004889
We hope for a quick solution as we would like to use ApplicationsManager in combination with OpManager which we already purchased.
