ssl issue

I am attempting to update our expired ssl for ad aduit plus and when I generate a .csr file with the instructions I found here (https://www.manageengine.com/products/active-directory-audit/help/admin-settings/steps-to-enable-ssl.html) the csr file is 0kb.
