ServiceDesk Plus Java

Hi, I'm running ServiceDesk Plus 9 Build 9047 and I just noticed it is still using JRE 6u45.

For security and performance reasons I'm looking at upgrading it to the latest JRE version 8u51.

Is it possible? Will ManageEngine provide support?
