Remote Network Scan
Remote Network Scan
Hello Everyone:
I am getting ready to to try to do a Remote Network Scan.
I have 25 remote offices that are connected to the main servers here only via terminal services. No VPN.
To do a network scan I know I need to open ports 7,135,445,1085 on the firewall.
However how am I going to scan the network behind the firewall?
If I scan the static IP of the firewall that isn't going to work correct? (Public IP and workstations are 192.X.X.X)
I do have file servers at each of this locations that I can log into via terminal services.
Can I log into them, then log into SD as admin and do the scan? I assume not cause it has to be local to the SD server correct?
Please advise and thank you for your time in advance.
