Question on Alerts

Good Day,

I have a question on Alerting. I created two alerts using the add alert profile under the alerts tab. I set it for SOX and HIPAA alerting basically. I then purposely disabled an account and re-enabled an account. While it showed up in the logs collected, it did not show up in either the SOX/HIPAA reports or the Alerts. How can i fix this?
