manual change detection
Hi all,
I currently have the problem that DeviceExpert does not support change detection on Nortel PassPort 8600:
When trying to start ChangeDetection, I got an error:
The following Device(s) do not support Configuration Detection through Syslog
www.xxx.yyy.zzz
So I have to perform a scheduled backup at a time in order to get notified about changes. However, I'm
concerned about the fact that I will fill up the database with equal configs of the devices.
On the other hand, I need to get informed about config changes on these devices.
Is there any other way to find out if the config's have been changed ?
