Linux equivalent of ae_scan.vbs

Is there a Linux equivalent to the ae_scan.vbs Windows script please?

I know you can download ae_scan.vbs from Assets -> [Troubleshoot] -> Windows Scan Script but I want look at the Linux euivelent.
