Since the latest Endpoint Central Agent update to version 11.5.2622.07, we are experiencing a significant increase in CPU usage on several workstations, and the issue is especially visible on our Terminal Servers / RDS servers.
We have noticed that the process DCAgentTrayIcon.exe is launched multiple times, once per user session, and appears to consume an unusually high amount of resources. On RDS servers with many active sessions, this leads to high CPU usage and performance degradation for users.
The issue started after the agent update. Before this version, we did not observe this behavior.
