Desktop Central Mac Agent Root Account

In Desktop Central 9 Build No:92022, I'm trying to configure the Mac Agent settings. There is a username and password, but username shows "root" and it won't let me change it.

We are running Mac OS X 10.11.3, and by default, the root account is disabled. I'm assuming it is best practice to leave it disabled? What are the options to get the agent working, or are we required to enable the root account?
