CMDB Business Service Not Showing in “Connect Service” & Inactive/Deleted IT Services Still Visible

CMDB Business Service Not Showing in “Connect Service” & Inactive/Deleted IT Services Still Visible

Hi,

I’m facing two issues in ServiceDesk Plus CMDB:

  1. When I create a Business Service in CMDB and try to link it from Asset (e.g., a server) via Add Relationship → Connect Service, the Business Service does not appear in the list. However, IT Services are displayed normally.
  2. In the same Connect Service section, I can still see deleted or inactive IT Service records, which should ideally not be listed.

Could you please clarify:

  • Why Business Services are not available for selection in “Connect Service”?
  • Why inactive or deleted IT Services are still being shown?
