Is it at all possible to add a new expander field into a template?

I have a use case where I want to add a new field into our Change template, to match existing OOB fields.

Example below highlighted with '1'.

I don't see any options to do this, but if anyone can share whether this is acheivable or if this has been done before, that would be amazing!
