We rae trying to monitor a load balance cluster of apache/tomcat servers.

We run IBM network despatcher on 172.31.133.13

We run one apache/tomcat leg on 172.31.133.11
Second leg is on 172.31.133.12

Note only one leg available at any time.

Currently the 'online' leg is 172.31.133.12.

I can add apache OK on 172.31.133.12 but on 172.31 133.11 is says service is not running.

I can also add both apache and tomcat through 172.31.133.13 ( this gives us whichever leg is online ( but does not allow looking at offline leg ).

As stated we can get tomcat through the load balancer address, but again if I try either of the 'real' addresses it says 'service not running'

Any ideas?
