Announcement: 'ME MDM' app renamed to 'Self Service'

Hello everyone.

We are renaming the Mobile Device Manager Plus agent app from 'ME MDM' to 'Self Service'. The app will be automatically updated with a new name and logo on all user devices.
 The rollout will begin on August 15, 2026. The rollout will be phased across different regions. No action is required on your end.



Why the change?

The new name, Self Service, better represents the app’s purpose for end-users. By simplifying the name, we aim to help end-users:

  • Recognize the app’s purpose at a glance

  • Independently access apps, resources, and upload logs on their own.

  • Reduce dependency on IT team


What’s NOT changing?

  • No changes to features, functionality, or workflows

  • No impact on app catalog, resources, or configurations

  • This update applies only to the agent app installed on end-user devices. It does not affect the Mobile Device Manager Plus server app used by administrators.

  • If you’ve rebranded the agent app's name or the logo, your customizations will be retained and no change will happen.
