About Host Name automatical changed ?

Recently i am testing the Application Manager, and i got i few problem wanted to ask for as i can't find similar post discuss this..... May be just i am lazy
Q1. I have created a Win2003 monitor where the i enter the IP Address (43.80.41.187) during the creation of the monitor. And the system detected the hostname of it (ereport03) . It seems getting fine in the beginning. And the hostname is showing ereport03 (43.80.41.187)
While a few day before we got some hardware maintenance of the ereport03 server. Application Manager works normal where showing sth like resource is down.
The interesting things is that , after a few hour, that monitor change to UP again while the server is still offline maintenance
. Finally i noticed the monitor is mapping to ereport01 where the IP is 43.15.17.85 (which is another server we have not mapped in the Application Manager yet. But the monitor show the hostname ereport01 (43.80.41.187)
, any advice of it ?
Q2. I have also created a Monitor on Exchange Server 2003. But i don't know where it is working or not.since i can't believe at the SMTP Connection stat. the Outbound Connections is just 0.xx per hour. That exchange server is a production one...
The above 2 is the main problem that i faced now.
