Reports and Data capture on SYSLOG events
Hi I am a licensed user of the OpManager application and require some guidance on the following. The application is running on Win2k8 box. I have configured my firewall to capture event logs to be sent to the OpManager SYSLOG server. Based on the rules set, I altered the failed login rule to capture the warn and informational type data, however I purposefully logged into my firewall incorrectly I am not seeing this information in the viewer, nor am I able to capture this data in report. Netflow plugin data issue
Hi, I have opmanager plus the netflow plugin installed. I have two issues 1. I have data coming in from two sonicwall firewalls. a nsa3500 and a tz215. the data coming in from the nsa3500 is fine and is accurate. the data coming in from the tz215 is not. firstly i only see four interfaces when the tz215 has six. secondly the current network speeds and data shown is much lower than what i know is actually being used. i suspect it is off by a factor of 10. how do i fix it? 2. i accidently deleted (meant
OpManager, can it monitor processes?
Is it possible for OpManager to monitor for the occurrence of certain “Processes"? As an example we have a server where there should always be 6 processes running named "CareProvider.Messenger.exe *32". If there are less than 6, then it should alert. For example: Can OpManager also monitor Scheduled Tasks?
Unable to connect to rest api from powershell
I'm hoping to start adding and updating devices via Powershell but I'm having issues making a connection. I'm receiving the error mesesage "Unable to connect to the remote server". I started with a simple method listWindowsServiceMonitors but no such luck. I'm an admin in OpManager and I've even regenerated a new apiKey so I'm wondering if there's something else I'm missing? iOS APP
All was working well in the iOS App until we upgraded to 11300 and now we get: webcliebt.api.parametervaluenotexists with a button that reads 'try again'. This happens under any category in the Infrastructure area. Business view works fine but we want infrastructure to work.
OpManager Blank Screen after Login
Hi Guys, So i just installed OpManager 11 and left everything as default during the installation. The only thing i ran into was when i tried to specify a web server port, it couldn't use 80 so instead it used 8086. Other than that, fine. I've tried to use it, and so far only gotten as far as logging in with admin:admin. after that, i get a white page that after a good 10 minutes, eventually say "Internet Explorer could not display the webpage". OpManager - Google Maps
The google maps feature is nice; however, I see no point in using it in its current state... It only allows you to add devices, when it should permit the addition of links to business views... Try adding 100+ devices for one location on a google map (WHAT A MESS!!!). Please add the ability to add business views (as a link) to google maps.
Opmanager alarm error
Hi We have been getting some false alarms on our Disk space monitor the last couple of month. The alarms are only present at night one or two times a month usually it happens at the time our weekly backup of our systems runs. Is it the combination of backup of disk and the monitor running at the same time that triggers this error? F.x the e-mail alarm says that there is less than 900mb free disk, but the monitor itself in Opmanager shows no such thing.

Unable to login
Hi, I have installed Opmanager v11.3. Was able to successfully install it with default configuration and Postgresql. The login page appears when I use http://localhost. But as I input the default username and password the page hangs there and gets blank. The top of page shows License Activation and hangs there till eternity. Could someone please help tell why this is happening and what is solution for this?

Hi, I want to know what kind of alert of script monitoring? I have already added script in opmanager and its working fine. Even data out put is also working but problem is that i dont know what parameter i have set on threshold and what kind of alert its generate when its working or not. can any one give a sample of script monitor alert ?
Service Account Locked Out
Good Day, We are using OpManager 11200 to monitor our servers and website urls using WMI. For the last 3 to 4 weeks the service account which we use gets locked out at irregular times and we get 100 of mails stating that the servers and urls are down. The account gets locked out every 2 to 3 days. If the wrong account details were added on one of the URL monitors, would OpManager not lock the account out constantly, instead this happens at irregular time intervals and days apart. Please assist
Turn off alarms for disabled services
Hello, I get alarms for disabled services. I don't want any alarm for this. For example "File Replication Service". Is there any way to avoid getting this monitors configured in the first place, and also is there a way to remove all monitors for disabled services? Thanks.

HTML Formatting included in SPM Export
Whenever I export a list from Switch Port Mapper via any method (PDF, xlsx or csv) a lot of HTML formatting is included. For example, IP addresses are listed in the cell as such: "<a class="linktxt" onclick="javascript:getPopUp('172.16.70.194' , event )">172.16.70.194</a> <br> " When we tested OpUtils running under Linux, this didn't happen. We moved it to Windows and started noticing this. Currently running 7.1, build 71013. Can this be fixed? Thanks!

Opmanager - error shutting down
I am running Opmanager 11.3 on a Windows 7 system. When I run the program "ShutDownOpManager" and enter in my username and password, I get the an Error in shut down ".\conf\Ports.properties (the system cannot find the file specified". The Ports.properties file does exist in the /conf directory. Any ideas? I can't install the Netflow plug in until I can shutdown Opmanager. Thank you

OPManager - Automatic Unmanage shutdown VMs and re-enable monitoring when powered back
Hi OPManager Dev Team! Would it be possible to implement something like an automatic un-manage function within the VMware monitoring? We get quite some alerts everyday from OPmanager for VM's that have been shutdown. It's just a painful job of resolving all these tickets and manually un-managing these VM's. And after a few days when they get started back up we need to go through them again to enable the monitoring on them. It would be great if the monitoring would disable automatically when a VM
Temperature monitor - convert Celcius to Farenheit?
I'm monitoring temperatures from several device types of different brands. I'd like to show temperatures in Farenheit rather than Celcius. Is there an easy way to convert the values in the monitors to F? The formula prefix option when adding the monitor in the device template does not seem to work (CelciusToFahrenheit[.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.6.8.1.4]).

Trap Parser with Failure Component
Hi, I have a router with multiple interfaces and I want to process linkdown traps for these interfaces. The linkdown trap works fine and collects the information ifdes for notifications. My issue is that I want to have different notifications profiles for different interfaces ie interfaces 1-5 -- link down trap send sms interfaces 6-10 - link down trap send email only Since i am using the linkdown trap generator, I cannot differentiate. Since the shortcuts are on both sides this create loops and once the status of a business view turns red, everything connected turns red too and never go back to green. I know this question has been asked before, but I have tried everything I have read and nothing seems to fix the issue.
