Export of Configs per Device?
Hi all, I am currently auditing all servers we monitor in OpManager. Currently the only relevant report I seem to be able to run is "Notification Profiles Applied by Device" That's a good start, but what I would like to do is generate a report that tells me what each server has monitored, and what their individual settings are. For example: Server A CPU and thresholds Memory and its threshold Disk C and its threshold Disk D etc etc... Is this possible, or am I going to have to try a custom database
Opmanager - Service / Resource false alarms
Hi, Opmanager Version: 10200 Setup: Three VM's in a Esxi farm with multiple instances (40) of Tomcat on each server / vm Issue: Opmanager will report false status (down or unavailable) on Processes and / or Services being monitored. Removal of the monitor and recreating the monitor will usually clear the issue for a few hours, however the alarm will resurface, sometimes the alarm will move to a different service / process number (e.g. Tomcat01 alarms, delete monitor - recreate - alarm resurfaces
OpManager: strange process CPU usage (over 100%)
We have a strange issue. We get reports about CPU utilization, where a process utilize CPU more than 100%. Could you explain, how this could be? Trying to create a template for ITWatchdogs Watchdog15 but getting a units error
I imported the MIB, found the OIDs that we need for monitoring and created a template. For some reason the temperatures come off missing a decimal point. For example, 75.5 F comes out as 755 F. I checked it again with the MIB browser and it shows: internalIndex.1:-->1 internalSerial.1:-->070004A3F58477C3 internalName.1:-->WatchDog 15 internalAvail.1:-->1 internalTemp.1:-->777 internalHumidity.1:-->31 internalDewPoint.1:-->447 Any thoughts?

Version 11 and API Client Interface
Hello, I just recently upgraded to the newest version of OpManager. Although we typically do not use the newer API-based UI that's available because it's in beta, one of my users really likes the graphs/reporting functionality it has compared to the regular UI. For some reason, however, when we access the apiclient on v11, some data does not seem to be pulled correctly. Hello there, We are trying out OpManager and comparing to Zenoss, and WhatsUpGold. So far we like OpManager a lot. Just about to say we like it more than the other two solutions. Delays in getting email alerts
Hi, Our Opmanager email alerts are getting delayed (They are displayed on the Alerts page in time though). They were 7 hours delayed on Monday morning and we restarted the service and it came back, but over the course of the day they got more and more behind. The same was true yesterday and by the days end it was 9 hours behind. I upgraded to 10.2 last night in the hopes this would correct it, but this morning the latest alert I have fired at 03:07am but arrived by email at 08:26am. Our email system

OpManager integrate SDP with ssl
We are can't integrate SDP with ssl to opmanager. We are using sdp.keystore from SDP and edit file ssl_servicedesk.bat to provid correct keystore. OpManager.truststore was create but SDP didn't integrated. What wrong? OpManager 10 Free Version
I have installed OpManager 10 Free Version on a Linux host and doesn't seem to be collecting stats. I am able to snmpwalk from the host and use the mib browser within OpManager to pull information from devices. Is a license required to run the free version?

OpManager9: Network Interfaces not detected
Hi, I am new to OpManager, current we have a site is using OpMgr9 for servers monitoring, I have few servers can be monitored however unable to detect network interfaces even with Rediscovery... it will shown below message Unable to rediscover the interfaces. Possible reasons: The device is possibly down. SNMP may not be running in the device. SNMP parameters may be wrong.Verified the SNMP services is running fine... Any idea how to rectify this issue... Eventlog record absence as alarm
Good day. Is it possible to configure the OpManager to generate an alarm if event record in Eventlog is absent? For example we're expecting that in period 10:00-11:00 a task must be finished. Only 3 events are possible: 1) task successfuly completed 2) task failed (critical event) 3) absent event at all (critical or warning event) 2 and 3 should be monitored.

how to configure dependencies for one device
Hi We have OPManager installed, I have already configured the dependencies for several devices behind a router or switch. When the last one goes down, no alertes from devices that are behind it. I am looking now for configuring the same thing for one device. I mean for one server with several services monitored on it and I want if the server goes down, I get only one alert for the box but no alerts for all its monitored services. Specifying MSMQ Thresholds Unable to test
I'm trying to monitor a MSMQ on a windows 2003 server. I add the monitor without any problem through the device templates and am able to test the monitor successfully. As soon as I add thresholds to the monitor and then try and test the monitor again I get "The Monitor did not respond to the test request " Any help would be appreciated.
Traffic Analysis of Ethernet Interface Interval
Hi, We are using op manager version 7 running on Windows XP and we use the Traffic Analysis of Ethernet Interface graph to see how much bandwidth each port is using. We have some switches that work fine and we get monitoring intervals of around 1-2 seconds but some switches are completely random, an example of the monitoring intervals are below. I cant see any issues and they are both setup the same. Can anyone help? OpManager Defaulting to http://localhost:8060 When Viewed Remotely
OpManager is working fine when viewed on the server it is on. However, when I try to access it from any other box the url defaults to http://localhost:8060 even when I put in http://10.31.147.71:8060 This prevents the pages from loading. Is there a setting somewhere that I can make the url default to http://10.31.147.71 instead of http://localhost?
