AD Audit + not running scheduled reports - not running
I have AD Audit+ running on a Windows 7 machine in User Mode. Up until a few days ago it was running fine and sending scheduled reports without issue. Now, every morning when I see that the reports haven't run I log into the box and the AD Audit software is no longer running. I start the DB and then log in, no data has been colleted from the previous day and no reports have run either. Can I not run this from a remote desktop or do I need to be logged in locally? Access is Denied Error Code: 5 when adding a domain controller
When I add a domain controller and I click Run Row to fetch data, in the status I have "Error - Access is Denied - Error Code: 5" I am running Windows Server 2003. All my other domain controllers are able to pull data without any problems. The username and password are correct and the user I am using is a domain admin. Any Ideas?
Mail Server Settings - Sending test email
I am trying to setup the mail settings and when I try and send a test email I receive the following error: "Send Mail Status :Exception reading response; nested exception is: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?"
Location of event logs and how to secure them.
I was wondering where are all the logs stored that ADaudit Plus gets from the domain controllers and application servers and how would I be able to secure them so they couldn't be altered or deleted?
Email alerts
I have set up some email alerts for user accounts and wanted to know if there was any way to add the %ACCOUNT_NAME% information in the Subject of the email instead of only the body? It would be great if I could see immediately which account was created/disabled/locked without having to go into the email itself. I tried adding %ACCOUNT_NAME% to the Name: field in the Alert Profile and it just includes %ACCOUNT_NAME% in the Subject of the email, not the actual user account name. Thank you.

Hi, When I create schedule report for audit logs, Its giving below error.. I already check mail settings its works and I check the directory of file The first screen about "cannot find file" C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\ADAudit Plus\webapps\adap\schedule-reports\belbim.local\adbelbimlog\Jan192012\10-05-AM\Renamed\Moved_Users_in_belbim.local.html (The system cannot find the path specified) Any suggestions ? Is it about folder permission ? Also I tried change permissions to "everyone read/write"

No history or alerts generated for locked out accounts
I have had a few accounts get locked out due to password failures, but the Alerts section shows there is no data available. I even tried 90 days and still nothing. All the other historical data works (like accounts created,deleted, OU's modified, etc). I just don't get any locked out notices. Why do I not see this information? Thanks

Now ADAuditPlus show me all logon activities with for example services logons where user is configured service to start with her user name and password. ev_temp problems again
Hi, I updated to build 4134 last week and I'm starting to see a build up of files in the ev_temp folder again, and we are not receiving some of our reports via email. One report did work but didn't show logins for half of the day. Any ideas or is there another update? Thanks Jeff

We're evaluating ADAudit plus and Change Auditor from Quest. Is there a way in ADAudit plus to see the details of the policy that was changed? I can see in the report or under Recently Modified GPO s there was a change but I cant see the details of that change.
How to move database
Somehow I managed to install ADAudit plus MYSQL database on the C drive and it's low on space. I need to move it to the another drive and I was wondering if this is possible or if I have to remove and reinstall the product etc. thanks Peter

Only collecting data from 1 domain controller
We have installed ADAudit Plus and configured it to collect data from two domain cotrollers. In the domain settings screen, it show success status for both domain controllers, but in the reports, we are only seeing data from one of the domain controllers. Any idea what may be the problem? Thanks..

Is there a list of variables that can be used in the creation of alerts? I have about 10 of them to set up and want to see what it can and cannot do. Something like Variable - Description - Example would be great.
Can't collect events from 2008 DC's
We currently have 5 domain controllers. 2 are windows 2003 and 3 are windows 2008. We are getting data from the 2003 controllers but not the 2008 controllers. Are there any known issues with Server 2008?

Move ADAudit to new server
We are consolidating servers and I need to move ADAudit while keeping the database and history intact to the new server. I tried running the backup.bat script which did back up the database, but when I tried the restore script it said it wasn't compatible with the version installed on the new server even though they are both 4.1 Do you have a guide for migrating the server/database?

Hi, im running version 4.1.0 build 4121 and am having issues getting GPO auditing to work properly. I get info in the Recently Modified GPO report but Im not able to get info in the Deleted report (even though the action I did was to delete a GPO). Im running Windows 2003 SP2 on the DC. File Audit - Reports per Server per Share
I am evaluating the product, in my evaluation I am monitoring a server with multiple shares on it and would like to see a report of activity per share. Is this something I can create or is it a report that you guys are working to include? Thanks!
Not all events are being audited
We recently installed ADAudit Plus. It seems that not all events from the domain controller are being audited. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks
AD Audit wont start up.
Server is up and running, when I look at the task manager Jave.exe*32 is taxing the system with high numbers on CPU and Memory usage. Has anyone seen this before? I'm not showing much of anything in the event logs.. Dan
Disabled User Login Alert
Whenever a user account that has been disabled is re-enabled and moved to the appropriate OU, that account still seems to be flagged as disabled in ADAudit as it will continue to send out alerts every time that user logs into a computer. This only seems to happen on accounts that were previously flagged as disabled.
