Why don't I receive alerts when a disk is removed?

  1. Check if the property(am.host.deleteDisk) is set to true in AMServer.properties.
If it is true, then we simply delete the disk from monitoring in Applications Manager. This also deletes history data.
  2. Make sure the setting for disk remove alerts is checked under Admin > Performance Data Collection > Server Error Alert Settings.
