Why are thresholds and alerts not working for metrics in the Database tab of the MS SQL monitor?

By default, Applications Manager collects metrics under the Database tab of the MS SQL monitor once every hourThe Collect data control this behavior in every hour option under:

Settings → Performance Polling → MS SQL → Metric Name: Database

Since this option is enabled by default, thresholds are evaluated, and alerts are generated only once every hour for these metrics.

If you want thresholds to be evaluated and alerts to be generated at every polling interval, enable the Collect data during every poll option and click Save.

Notes
Note: Enabling Collect data during every poll increases the frequency of data collection for Database metrics, allowing thresholds and alerts to be evaluated at each configured polling interval instead of once per hour.
