You may encounter a trust failure error when ADAudit Plus attempts to connect to the Cloud Directory server. This typically prevents successful authentication or communication with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) services.
Possible causes
A firewall is blocking outbound HTTPS traffic to required Entra ID domains.
Network proxy configurations may interfere with TLS/SSL certificate validation.
Prerequisites
Ensure administrative access to firewall settings or proxy servers.
ADAudit Plus must be installed and accessible.
Internet connectivity is required from the ADAudit Plus server to the Entra ID endpoints.
