Issue description  

When trying to view Azure AD reports in ManageEngine ADAudit Plus, users are redirected to the Cloud Directory configuration page instead of accessing the reports. This prevents technician accounts from retrieving or analyzing Azure AD data.

Prerequisites  

Before troubleshooting, ensure:

  • You have access to both the built-in admin account and the technician account in ADAudit Plus.

  • Microsoft Entra ID integration has already been successfully configured in the product.

  • Azure AD reports are working when accessed from an admin-level account.

Possible causes  

  • The technician account does not have Cloud Directory access delegated.

  • The required report access permissions for Azure AD reports are missing in the technician’s role configuration.

Resolution  

Step 1: Log in with the built-in admin account  

  1. Open the ADAudit Plus web console.

  2. Log in using the default administrator account.

  3. Try accessing Azure AD reports.

If the reports load correctly, the issue is likely with the technician's permissions.

Step 2: Assign Cloud Directory access to the technician  

  1. In the ADAudit Plus console, go to Admin > Administration > Technicians.

  2. Locate the technician experiencing the issue and click Modify.

  3. Under Delegated Role, make sure the Cloud Directory module is selected.

  4. Click Save.

The technician should now be able to access Azure AD reports without redirection.
