Error Code 78

Error Code 78

Error Code 78: This function is not supported on this system

Possible causes:

  1. The service account or domain admin account used in ADManager Plus doesn't have enough permission on the remote server path.

  1. The v6 profile is currently in use by a running process or program, preventing it from being deleted.

Solution:

  1. To address the issue, we will need to go to the path where we are trying to the remote server path and add the service account or domain admin account with full permission. Once we do give this permission out, we will have no restriction or error message showing up in ADManager Plus GUI.

  1. If the v6 profile is currently in use, try closing any programs or processes that may be using it and then attempting to delete the profile again.
