Slow GUI navigation - Online help | EventLog Analyzer

Slow GUI navigation

  1. Verify that the prerequisites and system requirements for EventLog Analyzer are met.
    1. Under the Search tab, you will find all the logs collected in a working day. Use this number to calculate the events per second (EPS) manually.
    2. Use our tuning guide to calculate and verify the required hardware specifications with the EPS value.
    3. If the recommended specifications are already met and the EPS is under the specified limit, open the <dir>:\ManageEngine\EventLog Analyzer\server\conf\wrapper.conf file, search for wrapper.java.maxmemory in the file, and increase the value based on RAM size.
Note: The maximum suggested value is 4096. However, based on server performance, you can increase it to 50% of the total RAM.
2. Disable unused or unwanted alert profiles, correlation rules, custom parser rules, and log collection filters.
3. Check if the issue is in the installed server or if the issue persists when accessed from another machine. If it is the latter, the issue might be environment-specific.
4. Check for CachedRecord files. High resource utilization when processing CachedRecord files can also lead to slow navigation.

If the issue remains unsolved, contact our technical support team for further analysis and resolution.
