Set "Reporting to" person and his manager as approvers for approval process - Deluge
Use Case:
Any request raised by a user needs approval from their direct "Reporting To" manager. This is configurable using $reporting_to$ variable in the template workflow.
In certain cases, it might require a second level of approval, which would be the lead of the reporting to the person.
Refer to this link for Python equivalent.
Steps to configure:
1. Download the attached scripts. Copy the contents into Request custom functions.
2. Goto Admin > Request Custom Function > Global Function > New > Paste the "global_function_4 - Configuration.txt" content and save it with a name.
(Update the SDP configurations details in the global function)
3. Goto Admin > Request Custom Function > Custom Function > New > Paste the "Add approval reporting to's reporting to.txt" content and save it with a name
4. Configure a custom trigger to get executed every time a request is created.
