Services Installed by the Windows Server Monitoring Agent in Applications Manager

Based on the applications available in your environment, the Applications Manager Windows server monitoring agent will run the following services:
  1. ManageEngine Applications Manager OneAgent:
This is the main service responsible for monitoring server availability and performance and transmitting data to Applications Manager. All server monitoring data is collected and sent through this agent service. If the agent stops or is unable to communicate with Applications Manager, the server is marked as DOWN, displaying the message:
    Quote
Agent service <Hostname> could not establish communication with the server. Please check if there is a problem with network communication. This could also happen if the agent service or the host itself is down.
  2. ManageEngine Applications Manager Agent Helper:
This is a "watchdog" service that monitors the ManageEngine Applications Manager OneAgent and its resource consumption to ensure it remains operational. This service runs continuously and should not be stopped by the user.
