Script for adding a new request according to the option selected by requester and new request created will be added to notes
This is a script for adding new request from a older request according to the option selected by the requester. If requester selects option A request must be closed , if requester selects option B a new request will be created and the new request ID will be added to notes in the old corresponding request.
Steps to be followed:
1. Please go to admin>> request custom function and paste the content which is the attachment (custom function.txt)
2. Please configure the application URL and the API key from your end accordingly
3. Save the script:
4. Create an additional field in template with options YES or no so that requester can select that option
5.Now if the requester selects option A , request must be closed , please create a business rule(admin>> service/ incident business rules) as stated accordingly.
6. Create a custom trigger(admin>> request custom trigger) to create new request when the requester selects option NO, please create accordingly:
