Reminder Emails and Notifications for Pending Approvals: Ensuring Timely Actions

Requirement:
If the approver does not act on an approval, three reminder emails should be issued. Even after issuing reminders, if they do not approve the requests, an email notification should be issued to the Approver's Reporting Manager.

Steps to configure:
This requirement is feasible using Request Timer Action.
  1. Download the attached scripts and configure them in request custom functions.
  2. Goto Admin > Developer Space > Global Functions > New: Copy paste the attached "configuration.txt" and update the hosted url and technician key.

  3. Goto Admin > Developer Space > Request Custom Functions > New: Copy paste the attached "Send mail to approver.txt". 
    1. Update the global function counts and the email address as per your instance.
  4. Goto Admin > Developer Space > Request Custom Functions > New: Copy paste the attached "Send mail to approver.txt". 
    1. Update the global function counts and the email address as per your instance.

  5. Configure the Request Timer action to invoke the saved custom functions.
