Invalid login name while adding a new user via AD import.

Invalid login name while adding a new user via AD import.

Currently, in Analytics Plus we do not support the special character '-' in login name while adding a new user.
There will be error message saying 'Invalid Login Name'



In order to avoid this, we have to follow the below steps.

1. Download the zip file from here. Extract the zip, and you will find two files "6820817_iam.fjar" and "zropurmt"

2. Copy the "
6820817_iam.fjar" and place it under ManageEngine\AnalyticsPlus\fixes (NOTE: Create a folder called 'fixes' if you aren't finding one)



3. Now copy the "zropurmt" file and replace it under ManageEngine\AnalyticsPlus\webapps\ROOT\zrop\js



4. Stop and start the Analytics Plus services under services.msc

5. Now try adding the user.

NOTE: The given patch is only compatible for 4600
