Installation on Windows

  • Check if the logged in account has local admin rights on the server since it is required for the installation to complete.
  • Check if the logged in account has write permission to the installation directory and temp %temp% directories.
  • If the installations stays running for a longer period of time (more than 5 mins), then check if there are any Antivirus solutions/antimalware/real-time scanning solutions running in the machine.
  • If the installation is struck in "Registering" section, then the installation is complete but there are issues in configuring postgres.
  • In that case, kill the installation using Task Manager. Then copy the file named postgres_ext.conf present in PAM360/pgsql/ext_conf and paste it into PAM360/conf directory.
  • Then try starting the service and it should start fine.
