Import Issue: Requests Are Being Created with Today’s Date

If imported requests are appearing in the application with today’s date instead of the original request date, please review the following:

Steps to Resolve the Issue: 
  1. Verify Date Format in the Import File

    • Ensure the date format used in your sheet (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY, DD-MM-YYYY) is consistent by making a right click on Date column → Format cells.

    • During the import process, select the same date format in the Import Wizard to ensure correct date parsing.

  1. Use the Latest Request ID (if applicable)

    • If you’re updating existing requests, make sure to use the correct and latest Request ID.

    • Using outdated or duplicate Request IDs may cause data to be overridden or misaligned.

Notes
  • Always preview the import before confirming, to check how the dates are being interpreted.

  • Consider performing a test import with a small dataset to validate field mapping and date accuracy.
