How to view archived Audit Reports and manage archive settings in ADManager Plus

 

ADManager Plus allows you to archive the actions performed by all help desk technicians during any period of time. The archived reports can be stored at any location defined by you, for any amount of time, as per your requirement. They can also be exported in different formats such as CSV, PDF, XLSX, and HTML. You can thus perform the following actions:

 

  • View archives

  • Manage archives

 

View archives

ADManager Plus allows you to view the archived audit reports of a particular time period and based on help desk technicians.

To view archives:

  1. Log in to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Delegation tab.

  1. Under Help Desk Audit Reports, click Audit Report.

  1. Click Manage Archives located at the top right-corner of the page.

  1. Click View Archives.

  1. In the Select Archive field, select the archived audit report that you would like to view from the list of archives in the new window.

  1. In the Select Help Desk Technicians field, select the technician whose action details you would like to view.

  1. In the Period field, select the period for which the data is to be displayed for the selected archive. If you've selected a custom range, choose the start date and finish date to customize the period for which data is to be displayed for the selected archive.

  1. Enable the Restore Workflow Requests option if you want to restore the closed and cancelled workflow requests from the archive.

  1. Click Go to view the selected archived audit report(s).

 

Archive settings

This option helps you configure the archive settings i.e., the archive interval, retention period, and location, according to your requirement.

 

To manage archive settings:

  1. Log in to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Delegation tab.

  1. Under Help Desk Audit Reports, click Audit Report.

  1. Click Manage Archives located at the top right-corner of the page.

  1. Click Archive Settings.

  1. In the Audit reports archive interval field, enter the time interval (in days) after which archiving is to be done. The archive scheduler repeats after every N days mentioned in this field. All the data for this time period will be archived.

  1. In the Archive files retention period field, specify time duration (in yeards) for which the archived data is to be retained. The retention period begins from the time the data is archived till the period mentioned in this field.

  1. In the Archive Location field, provide the location where the archived reports are to be stored.

  1. Click Save to apply the settings.
