How to troubleshoot incomplete or partial data exports in EventLog Analyzer
Issue description
User may export the Report, Search, and Alerts tab and will be able to see only the limit amount of entries in the exported file, however the data will be available in the console. This article offers information on how to resolve this issue.
Possible cause
User might have applied a filter during exporting the data, which results in exporting the data only based on the filter applied.
It may be restricted due to product settings configured.
Prerequisites
You need admin access to the EventLog Analyzer console.
Steps to follow
Navigate to Settings > Admin settings > Product settings and increase the Export limit value. The value set in this option is the upper limit for the number of records/lines in the export file.
Check the Report Time Out option and increase the time if you are exporting a larger dataset.
Open the required Report/Search/Alert to be exported and ensure either no filter or the appropriate filter is set.
Choose the Export option to select the format as PDF or CSV.
Wait until the export is done. Open the file to see the complete data.
