How to install and uninstall ADManager Plus as a Windows service
Objective: To install or uninstall ADManager Plus as a service.
Once you have installed ADManager Plus, follow the steps provided below to install it as a service:
Go to your machine's Start menu > All Programs
Select ADManager Plus folder.
Click Install ADMP Service.
To use the Management module of ADManager Plus and create or manage AD objects, administrator account or a user account with appropriate privileges is required.
The user credentials specified in Domain/Tenant Settings of ADManager Plus will be used when it runs as a service or application.
In case of Vista, disable User Account Control (Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control on or off) as this option allows only the administrator to install the product.
Steps to uninstall ADManager Plus
Go to your machine's Start menu > All Programs.
Select ADManager Plus folder.
Click Uninstall ADManager Plus service.
