Objective  

Learn how to find and view the User Attribute New and Old Value report in ADAudit Plus. This report is essential for tracking specific changes made to user object attributes in Active Directory by showing both the previous and the updated values.

Prerequisites  

  • Access to the ADAudit Plus web console.

  • An administrator account or a technician account with delegated permissions to view audit reports.

  • Active Directory auditing must be enabled on the domain controller, and the domain controller should be configured in ADAudit Plus.

Steps to follow  

  1. Log in to the ADAudit Plus web console.

  2. Navigate to the Active Directory tab.

  3. From the left pane, under User Management, click the User Attribute New and Old Value report to open it.

Validation and confirmation  

  • The report will generate and display a list of all user attribute modifications.

  • Verify that the report contains columns such as User Name, Modified Attribute, Old Value, and New Value.

  • You can use the search bar at the top of the report to filter for a specific user or attribute to confirm the change you are investigating has been logged.

Tips  

  • To proactively monitor changes, you can schedule this report to be automatically generated and emailed to administrators or security personnel.

  • Use the Export as option to save the report data in formats like PDF, CSV, or XLS for compliance audits or offline analysis.
