How to fix ADAudit Plus getting stuck at Initializing

Issue description  

When attempting to access the ADAudit Plus web console, the browser screen gets stuck on an Initializing message and does not load the application.

Prerequisites  

  • You must have access to the server where ADAudit Plus is installed.

  • An alternative web browser (such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge) should be available for testing.

Possible causes  

  • The web browser being used (such as Internet Explorer) may have compatibility issues with the application.

  • A back-end service or component of ADAudit Plus may have failed to start correctly.

Resolution  

Follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Step 1: Try a different web browser  

Browser incompatibility is a common cause of this issue.

  1. If you are using Internet Explorer, please try accessing the ADAudit Plus console using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Step 2: Collect logs for analysis  

If the issue continues in a different browser, the next step is to gather the necessary log files for the support team to investigate:

  1. Log in to the server where ADAudit Plus is installed.

  2. Navigate to the installation directory.

  3. Go into the \logs subfolder.

  4. Find and copy the following files:

    • Wrapper.log

    • The most recent serverout text file (e.g., serverout0.txt or serverout1.txt)
