How to customize enrollment SMS notification content

Objective     

This article explains how to customize the enrollment SMS template in ADSelfService Plus. Some organizations require SMS messages to follow specific formats or include particular content to meet compliance, branding, or communication standards. The default template may not meet these requirements, which can result in message delivery failures. ADSelfService Plus allows administrators to modify the SMS content to align with organizational needs and ensure successful message delivery.

Prerequisite     

  • Administrative access to the ADSelfService Plus portal

Steps to follow     

  1. Log in to ADSelfService Plus using an administrator account.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Customize > Personalize > Language Customization.
  3. Use the Select Language drop-down to choose the language for which you wish to customize the SMS message.
  4. In the search bar beneath the language selection, search for the following default message: {0} is your verification code.
  5. Locate the message {0} is your verification code to enroll for self-service password management.
  6. Click the Modify link.
  7. Update the content to match your organization's required template. For example:
    Use {0} to verify your identity for password enrollment - [CompanyName].
  8. Click Save to apply the updated message.
