How to customize copyright information displayed on the ADSelfService Plus portal login screen
Objective
This article details the steps to allow you to personalize the copyright notice shown on the ADSelfService Plus login screen. You can replace the default copyright information with your organization's name, ensuring your users see accurate and branded information when logging in.
Prerequisites
- Administrative access to the ADSelfService Plus server.
- A text editor to modify configuration files.
- A complete backup of the original configuration files before making any changes.
Steps to follow
Navigate to the language property file you wish to edit, located in C: > Program Files > ManageEngine > ADSelfService Plus > resources > adssp. For example, the language property file for US English is labeled as ApplicationResources_en_US.properties.
Open the language property file using a text editor.
Locate the key adssp.common.layout_footer.copyright.
Replace the information in the key with the content you want to display in the copyright notice.
Click the Save icon.
Restart the ADSelfService Plus application for the changes to take effect.
Validation and confirmation
- Open ADSelfService Plus. The copyright footer in the login screen should display the modified text.
