How do I confirm if the Windows agent is installed properly?

Case 1: Is the configured agent shown in the Devices and Agents pages?  

In EventLog Analyzer, go to Settings > Devices > Settings > Agents if the configured agent is shown.

 

Case 2: Is the ManageEngine EventLogAnalyzer Agent service present?  

In the machine where the agent is installed, open services.msc and search for ManageEngine EventLogAnalyzer Agent.

 

Case 3: Are bin and logs folders created for the agent?  

In the machine where agent is installed, do you see a logs folder and a bin folder in the ELA_Agent_Home folder?

64-bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\EventLogAnalyzer_Agent

32-bit - C:\Program Files\EventLogAnalyzer_Agent
