How to gather data from OWA logs with Exchange Reporter Plus
Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Exchange Server > Task Scheduling.
Click the Schedule New Task option on the top right corner.
Enter a suitable name and description for the schedule.
Under Gathering Task Name field, choose OWA logs from the drop-down menu.
Schedule the frequency and specific time for report generation.
Choose the Log Files Date and click Add icon against the Data Sources field to add Exchange Servers from which the OWA logs are to be gathered.
Click Create.
How to generate OWA reports with Exchange Reporter Plus:
Exchange Reporter Plus offers various built-in reports that give information on OWA user logons based on users, browsers, client IP, and more. This section elaborates the steps to generate such reports that depend on OWA logs. For illustration purposes, let's take the Log on Specifics report. Follow the steps given below to generate this particular report:
Navigate to Reports > Exchange Server > OWA & ActiveSync Reports > OWA General Reports.
Select the Log on Specifics report.
Enter the name of the organization and Period for which you want to generate the report.
The details of all users who logged into OWA during the selected period, specifically from the chosen organization will be displayed. The report includes crucial information such as the date and time of login, username, client IP address, browser name and version, along with the server name.
