Yes, ADManager Plus supports OU based delegation where administrators can delegate specific tasks to help desk technicians based on the OUs.
The OU-based delegation allows admins to delegate the specific OUs to the help desk technicians according to the organization's business needs.
For example, a Finance team OU with the Administrator role can be delegated to a group of help desk technicians, giving them permissions over the entire OU to perform certain management actions. Similarly, if the Sales team OU with the File Permissions Management role has been delegated to the help desk technicians, then they will be able to control the file access permissions.
The type of permissions held by the help desk technicians over the Finance team OU or Sales team OU will be according the role delegated or assigned to those help desk technicians.
Log in to ADManager Plus.
Go to Delegation > Help Desk Technicians.
You can delegate the OUs to existing technicians.
To delegate an OU to an existing technician, click the icon under the Action column corresponding to that technician.
In the page that opens, as shown below, choose the OUs that you want to delegate to the technician in the Select OUs drop-down and click Save Changes.
