In the latest build of ADManager Plus, we can send notifications to the users whose passwords are expiring soon.

To automate this process, follow the below steps.

1. Navigate to ADManager Plus → Automation.

2. Click the Create New Automation button in the top-right corner.

3. Provide the following details,
   

1. Provide a name in the Automation Name field.

2. Choose User Automation in the Automation Category.

3. In the Automation Task/Policy field, select Send Notification.

4. Select a Notification Template. When choosing a notification template, you can either use an existing one or create a new one and include the username macro in the recipient's address to notify the user.
   

5. While creating the template, we can use the type below macros in the email body to send detailed information regarding the password expiration date.
   

   %pwdExpiryDate% - Password Expiry Date.

   %daysToExpireAccount% - Days to Expire Account.

   %daysToExpirePwd% - Days to Expire Password.

6. Select Soon-to-expire User Passwords in the From Report field.
   

                   g. Select the frequency at which the automation needs to be run.

                   h. Click Save.
