Automating change stage transition based on task completion
PURPOSE:
To automatically move to the next change stage when all tasks are closed, using task custom function and task custom trigger. The attached script triggers upon the closure of each task, verifying whether all tasks within the current stage are closed. If they are, the change proceeds automatically to the subsequent stage.
TESTED IN: 14610
STEPS:
>> Under Admin > Tasks Custom Functions, paste the attached script. Modify the application URL and technician key accordingly.
>> Under Admin > Task Custom Trigger, configure a custom trigger as outlined below.
Thus when every task under a change stage is closed, the change moves to the next stage automatically.
