An "Authentication Failed" message is shown while adding device.

Solution

Connect via putty from the Applications Manager server using the profile which is used for adding the device. 
  • Once it is connected then execute the following command:
    • uname -s if this command gives doesn't give output, there is an issue with the user permission.
    • if this command gives proper output, then need to check why it gets failed in AppManager.
Connect via ServerSSHTroubleshoot.bat script.
  • If customer is not able to connect then check why it is not connected using the script.
  • If customer is able to connect then check why it gets failed in AppManager.
