Workorderstates.ISoverdue and ISEscalated

Can you advise the correct usage of these flags in reports please.

Does ISOVERDUE indicate that the request has breached 1st Response only, or breached 1st Response OR completion date target.

What does ISEscalated indicate?

I assume the reliable way to confirm that the request has breached SLA completion is just to compare completedtime against DueByTime.
