A problem started yesterday where the account used to monitor Windows servers via WMI keeps getting locked out. There is no other application using this account, only Applications Manager. I figured that it might be a problem with the AD account, so I created a new one this morning and started changing credentials. Everything was going well. All the monitors which had previously reported critical health status were now repoting that the server was OK. Imagine my horror when I discovered that this account was also being locked out, causing the servers to go critical again. So I started changing monitors back to the initial account.

 

Things seem to have calmed down now, but I think it's only a matter of time before the accounts get locked out again.

 

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
