I'm wondering if there are any plans in the future to allow windows 8.1 devices in the Desktop Central MDM app.

We currently have several Surface Pros that will be used by people who will only connect to our network intermittently.  We will have no way of tracking those devices without MDM.  I read in an article from 2013 that Windows 8.1 includes the OMA-DM API that will allow companies to write to include these devices in their MDM platforms.

Any information you could share with us would e greatly appreciated.
