Windows 2003 Install
I'm sorry for being such a noob, but I have some basic questions:
- I'm wanting to try out your product by using the free license on 4 windows 2003 servers.
2x Windows 2003 Domain controllers
1x DNS/DHCP/DFS Filesharing
1x Fileserver
- Do I need to install the software on each server? Or can I install it on one single server only?
- Does the software automaticaly turn on the corrrect snmp settings for the servers?
- Do I need to use SNMP on the windows 2003 servers or WMI?
- In case I only have to install it on one single machine, I assume that I have to turn on the SMNP services on the other servers. Is this easy to do?
In short, I would like to make triggers (email) for cpu usage, hardisk space, servers being unreeachable and a trigger for the Active directory (can it be located? and is the //domain/dfs working (custom?)
