Windows 11 26H2 Feature - Release Information

Good day, everyone!

As an initiative we have supported the Enablement Package for Upgrading the systems from Windows 11 Version 24H2/25H2 to Windows 11 Version 26H2.

The corresponding Windows 11 26H2 operating system (OS) patches will be released separately as part of the October 2026 Patch Tuesday release. Further updates regarding the Upcoming feature pack ISO patch releases will be provided as they become available.

Availability and Deployment Details

1. Endpoint Central builds 2627 and below: The Windows 11 26H2 Feature Enablement Package is available for deployment. (The corresponding ISO-based upgrade patches are expected to be available from Monday, October 5, 2026)
   
2. Endpoint Central builds above 2627: The Windows 11 26H2 Feature Pack patches are currently undergoing testing and are expected to be available within the upcoming week.
   

Impact on Automated Patch Deployment (APD)

1. If the Feature Pack option is enabled in the APD configuration, the Windows 11 26H2 Feature Enablement Package will be included in the deployment configuration and deployed to eligible systems.
   

Action required: Customers who do not intend to upgrade their systems to Windows 11 26H2 should take either of the following actions:

1. Decline the Windows 11 26H2 Feature Enablement Package.
   
2. Disable the Feature Pack option in the APD configuration.
   

These actions will help prevent unintended feature upgrades through APD.

Upcoming Patch Release Updates

Information regarding the availability of the corresponding Windows 11 26H2 ISO Feature pack patches will be updated later, once the updates were released.
